Action Alert! Urge Congress to Support Tuition Scholarships
Lawmakers in 36 states have enacted various forms of assistance for tuition-paying families to help those families enroll their children in the private elementary or secondary school of their choice. New York is NOT one of those states. However, Congress is now updating federal tax laws, which could include a program to help tuition-paying families across the country – including here in New York.
We need your help in urging Congress to act and not squander this unique opportunity. This could dramatically increase the scholarship funds available to support Catholic school families. Click HERE to Take Action!
Family Courtyard Bricks
You may place an order for an engraved brick for our Family Courtyard. This beautiful space is located around the Statue of Mary, Our Blessed Mother, overlooking the athletic field. This is a great way to acknowledge a graduate, a family, teachers, coaches and staff. Here is the link:

A number of students owe money on their cafeteria accounts. I would appreciate if you could please check your account and settle it this week.
May 29th: Feast of the Ascension: School Mass
Mass will begin at 8:30am. All parents, especially parents of students in junior year, are invited to attend.
May 29th: Junior Ring Ceremony
School rings will be blessed at the mass and then distributed to our students in junior year. Parents are welcome to attend.
College Essays
Juniors are required to submit the college essay they have written in their English classes for review by Mr. Kehayas or Mr. Vachna over the summer break. Each teacher will be assigned a group of students in junior year and will provide written feedback to help students revise and strengthen their essays before the start of school in September. This is an outstanding service offered by the school at no cost, giving students the opportunity to complete a major component of the college admissions process well in advance.
Students are to log onto my TurnItIn account and enroll themselves in the appropriate section:
Last names A-L: CEW 1 ID 48815492
Last names M-Z: CEW 2 ID 48815512
Submit the essay by June 6th.
